Pay Rate: Competitive, £120 - £160 per day (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a passionate Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Fulwood from February 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a full-time maternity cover position for approximately 12 months, teaching a well-established Year 3 class.

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

The Role

Full-time Year 3 class teacher.
Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Plan, prepare, and assess pupil progress effectively.
Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and positive behaviour.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and wider school staff.
Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
Be passionate about helping children succeed academically and personally.
Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
