Year 3 Teacher Needed – DN4 Area

📍 Location: DN4 area
🕒 Contract: Full time, maternity cover until summer
📅 Start: January 2026 (or earlier for a handover)

We are advertising on behalf of a welcoming primary school in the DN4 area who are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team.

This is a full-time maternity cover role starting from January, though the school is open to an earlier start date (a few weeks before Christmas) for the right candidate to ensure a smooth handover.

The successful candidate will be working with a challenging but rewarding class, so strong behaviour management skills are essential.

You will receive one half day per week of PPA time to support planning and preparation.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Proven classroom experience within KS2

* Excellent behaviour management and classroom control

* A positive, resilient and nurturing approach
