Year 3 Teaching Job, Wigan, September Start, permanent position

Hays are working with a local primary school in the Wigan area to help recruit for a permanent Year 3 Teaching position they have available from September 2024. This is a school that always seeks to encourage and enable all pupils to interact, work together, develop positive relationships and contribute to their community.
The school also prides themselves on high-quality teaching. Therefore, they are looking for someone consistent and dedicated to the wellbeing and educational development of their students.
Your new role
This job role will see you take on full teaching responsibilities for this Year 3 class, where you will be required to effectively plan and prepare lessons and support the educational growth of your students. Marking and carrying out assessments will also be necessary. You should have experience working within KS2 and hold strong behaviour management skills to keep pupils on track. There are mild SEN needs within the class, and you will have a teaching assistant to support you.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children. Subject leadership is desired, but not essential for this role. Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECT’s and NQT’s are also welcome to apply.
