The Year 3 Teacher will design and deliver engaging, knowledge-rich lessons that support pupils’ transition into Key Stage 2. As a Year 3 Teacher, you will develop pupils’ reading fluency, writing stamina and mathematical reasoning. Working in Harrow, the Year 3 Teacher will also lead small-group interventions and track progress using high-quality assessment practice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured Year 3 lessons across the lower KS2 curriculum


• Lead guided reading and writing development sessions


• Monitor attainment and plan targeted support


• Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and phase colleagues


• Build strong relationships with families in Harrow

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status


• Experience within KS2


• Strong organisation and planning skills


• Available to start January 2026
