We are seeking an exceptional Year 3 Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time maternity cover contract starting in September 2025.

Role Overview:

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to our wonderful Key Stage 2 students. You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure each child’s academic and personal growth, while maintaining a positive and dynamic classroom environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to Year 3 students


• Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support


• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent and effective teaching practices


• Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress and well-being


• Ensure high standards of behaviour and foster a positive and respectful learning environment


• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and school events

We are looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


• A passion for teaching and a commitment to helping children achieve their best


• Strong classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching


• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 3, is desirable


• A good understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment practices


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently


• A positive, proactive attitude and a dedication to creating an inclusive learning environment
