Year 3 Teacher - Outstanding Primary School in Redbridge

We are working with a vibrant and fun primary school based in Redbridge seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent KS2 teacher is required from October 2024.

This fantastic primary school is searching for an outstanding KS2 teacher who can start in October 2024. This is a significant position within the school, and the successful applicant will join the school's extended leadership team. Strong communication and analytical abilities, as well as the ability to teach a fun-loving Year 3 class beginning in October 2024, are required for this position. Only exceptional, experienced KS2 teachers will be interviewed for this permanent full-time position.

Responsibilities of a KS2 teacher:

• As a KS2 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of the children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.


• Teaching the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses


• Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry


• Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

Salary

The salary for this position will be paid to scale.

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS)


• Experience teaching primary school students, ideally in KS2


• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks


• Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team


• A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development


• Good behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
