Position: Year 4 Teacher
Location: Rotherham
Contract: Temporary, long-term with potential to continue / flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: September / upcoming

About the Role

The Year 4 Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 4 class within a primary school in Rotherham, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the curriculum.

This is initially a long-term opportunity, with the potential for the placement to continue for the right candidate. The successful Year 4 Teacher will be confident managing a classroom, building positive relationships and ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout their learning.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons to a Year 4 class
Follow school planning and curriculum expectations
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage behaviour effectively
Support pupils with different learning needs
Monitor and assess pupil progress where required
Encourage independence and positive attitudes towards learningCandidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous primary teaching experience
Experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 4
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Flexible and adaptable approach
