Year 4 Teacher - Croydon

A forward-thinking Good primary in Croydon is looking for an energetic Year 4 Teacher to join a collaborative KS2 phase on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will be invited to planning days before January 2026, complete induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Year 4 Teacher. This Full-Time Year 4 Teacher role offers scope to lead enrichment, develop memorable curriculum sequences and impact pupil progress.

• Year 4 Teacher - Full-Time post available with a January 2026 start.

• Year 4 Teacher to join a Good Croydon primary - planning and induction commence January 2026.

• Year 4 Teacher will receive subject coaching and regular CPD from January 2026.

Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities

• Plan and teach coherent mathematics and English sequences as the Year 4 Teacher, embedding retrieval and reasoning.

• Lead enquiry-based foundation topics, coordinate trips and deliver practical science as the Year 4 Teacher.

• Use assessment to tailor support, run interventions and support transition with clear records as the Year 4 Teacher. The Year 4 Teacher will prepare resources ahead of January 2026 and will teach from January 2026 as the Full-Time Year 4 Teacher.

Year 4 Teacher Candidate profile

We seek a Year 4 Teacher with QTS, confident KS2 practice and a creative approach to curriculum design. The Year 4 Teacher should be collaborative, reflective and available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to teach from January 2026 as the Full-Time Year 4 Teacher.
