Year 4 Teacher - Ealing

Are you a creative and reflective Year 4 Teacher ready to join a busy KS2 phase in Ealing from January 2026? A welcoming primary school in Ealing is recruiting a Year 4 Teacher to teach an engaging, knowledge-based curriculum and to support whole-school improvement.

The Year 4 Teacher will plan and teach sequenced units across English, mathematics and foundation subjects, lead targeted small-group interventions and contribute to moderation and professional development. This Year 4 Teacher role in Ealing begins January 2026, with induction and planning sessions scheduled prior to January 2026 so the Year 4 Teacher can begin the spring term prepared and confident.

Role responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality Year 4 lessons that develop fluency, reasoning and creativity.


• Use assessment data to set precise targets and to plan timely intervention that accelerates progress.


• Work with teaching assistants to scaffold learning and support pupils with additional needs.


• Contribute to curriculum development, year-group planning and whole-school projects across Ealing.


• Maintain accurate records, participate in reporting cycles and engage with parents about progress.

Person specification

• Qualified teacher with strong experience in KS2 and successful Year 4 practice.


• Excellent planning, assessment and classroom management skills, with the ability to adapt resources effectively.


• A collaborative and reflective practitioner who contributes positively to the Ealing staff team.


• Ready to commence January 2026 and to attend induction and handover before January 2026.
