Role highlights — Year 4 Teacher: as the Year 4 Teacher, you will plan engaging, knowledge-rich sequences that develop reasoning, vocabulary and independent writing. The Year 4 Teacher will use formative assessment to personalise learning, lead enrichment and coordinate trips that enhance the curriculum. From the January 2026 start, the Year 4 Teacher will participate in phase planning and moderation and will teach a full timetable as a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher.

Person specification — Year 4 Teacher: QTS and KS2 experience as a Year 4 Teacher; strong behaviour management and the ability to differentiate confidently; commitment to collaborative practice and parent partnerships. The Year 4 Teacher should be ready to begin pre-term planning before the January 2026 start, attend induction in the weeks of the January 2026 start, and take on a Full-Time timetable from the January 2026 start.
