Year 4 Teacher Good School Northampton January 2026 start

A confident Year 4 Teacher is sought by a progressive Good primary in Northampton to teach upper-lower KS2 on a Full-Time contract starting January 2026. The appointed Year 4 Teacher will take part in handover and planning prior to January 2026, attend induction during January 2026, and lead a stimulating Year 4 classroom from January 2026.

• Year 4 Teacher — Full-Time role — January 2026 start.

• Year 4 Teacher to join a collaborative KS2 phase in Northampton — January 2026 start.

• Year 4 Teacher will receive induction, subject coaching and leadership support from January 2026.

Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver rigorous maths units that develop reasoning and fluency as the Year 4 Teacher.


• Deliver ambitious English sequences and nurture confident, resilient writers as the Year 4 Teacher.


• Track pupil progress, use assessment effectively and run targeted interventions as the Year 4 Teacher.


• Lead enrichment activities and contribute to subject development after January 2026.

Year 4 Teacher Requirements

• QTS and solid KS2 experience expected of the Year 4 Teacher.


• Strong subject knowledge, clarity in behaviour management and collaborative spirit for the Year 4 Teacher.


• Available to prepare prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach full-time from January 2026 as the Year 4 Teacher.
