Year 4 Teacher - Manchester

An experienced Manchester primary invites applications for a reflective Year 4 Teacher to join Upper Key Stage 2 from January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will prepare planning before January 2026, will attend induction in January 2026, and will be delivering lessons from January 2026. This Year 4 Teacher role calls for someone who can combine strong curriculum knowledge with engaging, practical teaching that challenges learners as the Year 4 Teacher.

• Year 4 Teacher - Full-Time position available with a January 2026 start.

• Year 4 Teacher to join a supportive Manchester primary - pre-term planning and induction begin January 2026.

• Year 4 Teacher will be part of a strong KS2 phase and receive subject-specific CPD from January 2026.

Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities

The Year 4 Teacher will plan and teach rigorous maths and English sequences as the Year 4 Teacher; develop vocabulary and enquiry in foundation subjects as the Year 4 Teacher; run focused booster groups as the Year 4 Teacher; moderate standards and contribute to phase planning as the Year 4 Teacher. The Year 4 Teacher will prepare moderation evidence and reports in readiness for meetings after January 2026.

Year 4 Teacher Requirements

We are seeking a Year 4 Teacher with QTS or equivalent, strong KS2 experience and the ability to evidence impact. The Year 4 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to start in post from January 2026. The Year 4 Teacher should be collaborative, data-aware and committed to inclusion.
