Year 4 Teacher Reading

A well-regarded primary school in Reading is seeking a confident and motivated Year 4 Teacher to join their teaching team. This role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for a well-settled class and deliver engaging lessons that support academic progress and personal development.

The successful Year 4 Teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high standard of teaching and learning across the school.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Year 4 lessons

• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly

• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Working closely with support staff and leadership

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience teaching within KS2

• Strong classroom management skills

• A reflective and proactive approach

• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
