Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher for a school in Wellingborough, starting on 2nd November 2026.

The school is looking for a teacher who can create a positive classroom culture, deliver engaging and purposeful lessons, and provide pupils with the support and challenge they need to make strong progress throughout Key Stage 2.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering well-structured and engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum

Building positive relationships with pupils and fostering a strong attitude towards learning

Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and positive classroom expectations

Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all pupils can thrive

Working collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

You will be an enthusiastic, reliable, and confident teacher who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential. The school is open to applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The position will begin on 2nd November 2026 on a temporary, long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
