Year 5 Teacher Birmingham

An energetic Birmingham primary seeks an ambitious Year 5 Teacher to join KS2 on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 5 Teacher will attend planning prior to January 2026, complete induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Year 5 Teacher. This Full-Time Year 5 Teacher role includes leadership coaching, opportunities to lead enrichment and a supportive phase team to help the Year 5 Teacher secure excellent outcomes.

Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities

• Plan coherent, ambitious maths and English sequences as the Year 5 Teacher.

• Use assessment to personalise learning and run targeted interventions as the Year 5 Teacher.

• Lead enrichment projects, coordinate trips and support transition to Year 6 as the Year 5 Teacher.

Year 5 Teacher Requirements

• QTS and proven KS2 experience expected of the Year 5 Teacher.

• A Year 5 Teacher who is reflective, collaborative and strong on behaviour strategies.

• Available to prepare before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 5 Teacher.
