Year 5 Teacher – Brentwood, Essex

Gold Education Recruitment is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Brentwood, Essex from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Year 5 Teacher, KS2 Teacher, or Primary Teacher, although applications from enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also welcomed.

The Role

As the successful Year 5 Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.

* Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

* Assess and monitor pupil progress to ensure excellent learning outcomes.

* Prepare pupils for a successful transition into Year 6.

* Work closely with colleagues, parents and support staff.

* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.

* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* A passion for inspiring children to achieve their full potential.

* A positive and proactive approach to teaching.
