Your Role as a Year 5 Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.


• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued.


• Assess, track, and support student progress, providing tailored feedback and intervention where needed.


• Inspire pupils to become independent and confident learners.


• Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure each child reaches their full potential.


• Engage in school initiatives, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 5.


• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• A passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs.


• Commitment to continuous professional development.
