About the role — Year 5 Teacher

This Year 5 Teacher will plan knowledge-rich sequences in mathematics and English as the Year 5 Teacher, lead enrichment activities as the Year 5 Teacher and deliver targeted interventions as the Year 5 Teacher. From pre-term planning before January 2026 through to the full teaching schedule after January 2026, the Year 5 Teacher will be supported by subject leaders and the Independent School leadership team. The Year 5 Teacher will attend a focused induction in January 2026 and will teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 5 Teacher.

Candidate essentials — Year 5 Teacher

We require a Year 5 Teacher with QTS (or equivalent), creative curriculum practice and strong classroom outcomes. The Year 5 Teacher should be available for planning sessions prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and a Full-Time start in January 2026 as the Year 5 Teacher. The Independent School offers structured mentoring, a small CPD cohort and opportunities to lead a subject strand for the Year 5 Teacher.
