Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that meet the needs of Year 5 students and align with the National Curriculum.


• Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and setting clear learning targets.


• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures a love for learning.


• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum and share best practices.


• Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, providing updates on pupil progress and addressing any concerns.


• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other school activities.

Requirements

• 
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5.


• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.


• 
  Excellent classroom management and communication skills.


• A passionate and creative teacher, committed to helping pupils achieve their best.


• A team player with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
