Year 5 Tutor - Poole Area

Attention Education Professionals!

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Tutor to support a primary-aged pupil in the Poole area.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored one-to-one tuition, helping a Year 5 student build confidence, strengthen their English and Maths skills, and prepare for the transition into Year 6 in a supportive learning environment.

As a Tutor, you will deliver engaging, personalised lessons and complete weekly feedback reports to monitor the pupil's progress, achievements, and overall development.

At Prospero Teaching, we work closely with schools, local authorities, and families across the UK, and we're looking for tutors who are passionate about making a real difference in children's education.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Poole
Position: Year 5 Tutor
Subject: Primary (Year 5 - English and Maths)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Contract Type: Part-time
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Hours: Flexible

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

The following are desirable, but not essential:

QTS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching or tutoring within a UK primary school
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Have the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional child-related references
Have a minimum of one year's experience working within an educational setting
