Year 5/ 6 Teacher – Full-time - September 2026

Vision for Education are seeking a nurturing and inspirational Year 5/6 Teacher to join a well regarded primary school in the Huntingdon area for the full academic year, beginning in September 2026. This role offers a valuable opportunity to join a team of experienced and hard working teachers, supporting young learners as they grow, explore, and develop new skills.

This is a full-time, maternity cover post. The school are open to a job share for the right candidates. 

About the role

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching
Work collaboratively within the Key Stage 2 team
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Plan and deliver engaging, enriching and inclusive learning opportunities
Build strong relationships with pupils and parents
To be considered for the role of Year 5/6 Teacher

You will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (ECT's are wellcome to apply)
Full enhanced DBS clearance (we can support with obtaining this if needed)
Two referees that we can approach for references to support your recent teaching employment
A passion for providing quality education
Recent experience teaching within a Primary School
Excellent communication, time keeping and organisational skills
