Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience)

A forward-thinking primary school in Reading is seeking a committed Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role in a supportive and inclusive school community that values academic achievement and pupil wellbeing.

What you'll be doing:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned to the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Preparing pupils for end-of-year SATs with targeted support and interventions
• Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
• Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues to support pupil outcomes

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
• High expectations for behaviour, learning, and progress
• A collaborative and enthusiastic teaching approach
