The Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the Year 6 curriculum. Prepare pupils effectively for SATs assessments whilst maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum. Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes independence and resilience. Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and intervention strategies. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support pupil achievement and wellbeing. Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6. Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and strong subject knowledge. Has high expectations of achievement, behaviour and attendance. Is committed to inclusive education and meeting the needs of all learners. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives.
