Year 6 Teacher

Zest Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community in Sutton Coldfield.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering the opportunity to inspire and support pupils in their final year of primary education as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners

* Prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments and secondary school transition

* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and resilience

* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil progress

* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events

Candidate Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6

* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* A passion for inspiring young learners and helping them achieve their full potential

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
