We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Newham, starting in April 2025. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 6 students in line with the National Curriculum.


• Prepare students for their end of Key Stage 2 assessments, ensuring they feel confident and ready for their next educational steps.


• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for further development.


• Foster a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom that promotes a love for learning.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality delivery of the curriculum and share best practices.


• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.


• Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and wider school activities as required.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Previous experience teaching Year 6 or in a similar primary school setting.


• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience preparing students for Key Stage 2 SATs.


• Excellent classroom management and the ability to motivate students to achieve their best.


• A passionate, student-focused teacher with a commitment to raising academic achievement.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
