Year 6 Teacher - Newham

A high-performing primary school in Newham is recruiting a confident and experienced Year 6 Teacher to lead pupils through their final year of primary education from January 2026. The school has high expectations and a strong focus on preparing pupils both academically and emotionally for secondary school.

• Year 6 Teacher role available from January 2026
• Full-time UKS2 position in Newham

You will work within a structured KS2 team, supported by experienced leaders and effective intervention strategies.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering the UKS2 curriculum effectively

• Preparing pupils for SATs and transition

• Tracking and monitoring pupil progress

• Creating a calm, focused learning environment

• Supporting pupil wellbeing and resilience

Person specification:

• QTS with UKS2 experience

• Strong assessment and data analysis skills

• Confident classroom presence

• Organised and proactive approach

• Commitment to safeguarding
