What You'll Be Doing

• 
  Inspiring Year 6 students: Plan, prepare, and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that are packed with challenges to help Year 6 students soar to new heights.


• 
  Guiding their transition: Help students make the leap from Primary to Secondary school with confidence by developing their key skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking.


• 
  Making learning fun: Foster a positive and energetic classroom atmosphere where learning is always exciting, interactive, and inspiring.


• 
  Tracking progress: Regularly assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback, helping each child to unlock their full potential and reach new goals.


• 
  Collaborating with the team: Work alongside a fantastic group of teachers to share ideas, best practices, and deliver a top-notch curriculum.


• 
  Connecting with parents: Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates and addressing any questions or concerns.


• 
  Getting involved: Take an active role in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities.

Who We’re Looking For

• A passionate Year 6 Teacher with a track record of success in the classroom.


• 
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, especially Year 6, and a deep understanding of the National Curriculum.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that will help you build connections with students, staff, and parents.


• Someone who thrives in a team environment and loves contributing to a positive school culture.


• A teacher who is committed to personal development and always looking for ways to innovate and improve their practice.
