Year 3 Teacher + RE Leader responsibilities:

• Manage the teaching and learning of RE


• To raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the whole curriculum area


• Plan and organise schemes of work in line with the school's curriculum and national standards


• Oversee curriculum coverage, continuity and progression in RE throughout the school


• Assess and evaluate Year 3 student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies


• Provide regular feedback to Year 3 students, parents and colleagues on student progress


• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment


• To ensure that there is a clear curriculum in place that matches the needs of the students


• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences

Year 3 Teacher + RE Leader requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, PGCE or related field


• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification


• Up-to-date knowledge of the primary school curriculum and national teaching standards


• At least 2 years' experience teaching KS2


• Experience leading a subject or year group


• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills


• A passion for education and a commitment to student welfare


• An ability to inspire and motivate Year 3 students of all abilities.
