Location: Chichester
Hourly rate: £12.75-£13 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Temporary
Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts available, including days, nights, sleep-ins, weekends and long days.
 
About the Role
At First for Support, we're looking for compassionate and reliable Youth Support Workers to join our growing team, providing temporary staffing to supported living homes in Chichester.
As a Youth Support Worker, you'll play an important role in supporting children and young people in residential care settings. You will help provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment, build positive relationships and support young people with their daily routines, activities, education and emotional well-being. No two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference while enjoying the flexibility that temporary work offers.
 
What We're Looking For
We're looking for candidates who:
·Have previous experience in a similar role as a Youth Support Worker and are comfortable with lone working.
·Are reliable, professional and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
·Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy building meaningful relationships.
·Are caring, patient and resilient.
·Are able to remain calm in challenging situations
·Committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
