The Role

As a Youth Worker, your responsibilities may include:

Building positive, trusting relationships with young people.
Supporting social, emotional and personal development.
Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and participation.
Helping young people develop confidence, resilience and independence.
Supporting individuals who may face social, emotional or behavioural challenges.
Using effective communication and de-escalation strategies where appropriate.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals.
Maintaining professional boundaries and following safeguarding procedures.
