Optical Retail Training Consultant

Optical Retail Trainer Consultant job in South West / South England. Zest Optical are currently looking to recruit a Retail Training Consultant for a leading manufacturer of Ophthalmic Lenses. The purpose of this role is to build strong business relationships with customers in the independent optical market across the M4 corridor.

The Retail Training Consultant will work in a defined customer segment or segments, to attain product category volume and revenue growth objectives. You will also be responsible for directly selecting, targeting and working with customers to deliver value through training.

Retail Training Consultant - Role

• Use consultative selling and training to support customer's goals and help them set objectives for a defined customer segment.
• Proactively communicate with all Business Development Managers, other Retail Training Consultants and colleagues on the identified objectives but also general business objectives (Lens volume and value growth, with the advancement of our personalised lens market share).
• Totally understand and embrace digital measuring and personalisation of lenses, the whole patient experience and the reduction in Lens non-tolerance levels.
• Complete analysis for each customer on the impact of goal attainment on profitability and other revenue KPI's with real emphasis on specific product ranges.
• Provide world class customer service as a business consultant to selected customers.
• Proactively coordinate and manage an appointment schedule

Retail Training Consultant - Requirements

• Dispensing Optician qualification or optical field training experience
• Working on own initiative to tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing
• Ability to effectively analyse and interpret data
