Retail Assistant

Working with Batch'd is to join a young vibrant brand who deeply care about our people and the products we sell. Batch'd is a premium national retail business who specialises in selling high quality bakery items. Currently the offering includes Donuts, Cookies and Brownies which are baked off site. They are looking for capable and hardworking individuals to join the team in either Manchester Arndale, Manchester Victoria Train Station or Manchester Trafford. 

What you'll do 

Being on the shop floor will mean your days are focused around giving the customer the best experience possible. This will include ensuring a clean space, signing documentation for food safety, quality control of products and regular interaction in supporting the customers needs. This job requires a high level of organisation and an ability to be able to multitask. 

Responsibilities

Ideal candidates will have previous customer service experience, be bursting with energy and positive and must have a customer focused approach. Reliability and excellent communication skills are key.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day to day set up of the shop
• Driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Delivering outstanding customer service
• Hygiene and food safety compliance
• Greet and deal with customers requests
• Serve customers and take payments
• General housekeeping and maintaining the cleanliness of the area
