Job Description - Retail Marketing Director

Maidenhead, Berkshire (Hybrid Working – 3 days in office)

Salary: Up to £130,000 per annum

The Role

We are seeking a visionary Retail Marketing Director to lead in the design, development and delivery of the real estate, digital and community marketing strategy for the national retails branch network, supporting and enabling the delivery of the business performance objectives for growth.

You can download the full job description below. Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing the playbook for regions and communities to compete for local market share – including localised digital marketing strategy, websites, social and digital traffic drivers such as paid search.
  • Developing strong local brands, leveraging the equity of the national brand, creating influence and prominence in the community, driving footfall to enable sales of funerals, plans and memorials.
  • Leading in the alignment and delivery of branch branding, front of house and the customer experience in branch including point of sale.
  • Responsible for local promotional pricing initiatives to gain competitive advantage, operating within the relevant regulatory framework.
  • Ownership of local marketing budgets, investment and performance for digital marketing, local advertising and sponsorship, and the measured return on investment from the activity.
  • Measures and analyses data from campaigns to assess successes, return on investment and identify areas for innovation and improvement.

What we're looking for:

️ Experience implementing and maintaining localised brands

️ Experience designing and delivering brand strategy across physical and digital estates

️ Proven success of building, implementing and improving large-scale brand change programmes
️ Exceptional partner management skills and exposure to senior leadership teams

  • Annual salary of up to £130,000 per annum
