Job description

To assist in building the business and ensuring the store is at the forefront of our customer's mindset. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation. .

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers needs and wants
• Recommend and display items that match customer needs
• Welcome and greet customers
• Manage point-of-sale processes
• Adhering to store budgets and targets, cash handling
• Assist with all deliveries are accurately checked and booked on stock sales system
• Keep up to date with sales materials and current product knowledge
• Ensure strong professional working relationships are maintained with all colleagues
• Always maintain and adhere to the company quality standards set
• Responsible for ensuring all health and safety regulations are always adhered to
• Any other reasonable duty requested by Management

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 1 year's experience in retail sales is essential
• An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to deliver an exceptional standard of customer service
• Strong IT Skills using various software packages
• Must be available to work, days and weekends

Desirable Skills

• Ability to organise
• Strong time management skills

Further Information

Salary: £6.40 - £11.44 per hour, depending on age. Proficiency in English in order to communicate and carry out the role effectively.
