As we drive our Society wide transformation and invest in our new strategy, we have a brand-new role available for a Treasury Analyst to join our growing Treasury team!!

This is a hybrid role based at our Head Office in the heart of Nottingham City Centre where you will be part of a small but mighty Treasury team who support the management of the Society’s short-term wholesale funding, interest rate risk and liquidity positions, working closely with our Head of Treasury.

Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Treasury Analyst at The Nottingham –

  • Management of the liquidity forecasting and stress testing processes and associated assumptions.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and input into the production of balance sheet forecasts and support the Head of Treasury on the ILAAP and ICAAP documents.
  • The Treasury Analyst will work closely with the other members of the Treasury front office team to assess dealing requirements, making decisions on the investment of excess cash and interest rate swap transactions.
  • You will be the Subject-Matter-Expert relating to the Society’s Treasury Management System, ensuring that all dealing is accurately reflected and processed in line with requirements.
  • Work with the Retail Product teams to assess maturity dates and tranche sizes that align with the Treasury control framework and hedging strategy.
  • We are very passionate about meaningful Data! You will produce key financial information and updates as requested for key committees and stakeholders. You will also u tilise our Treasury markets system (Bloomberg) to provide market data and financial information to other business areas.
  • Contribute to our culture of learning and skill development within the team and stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Treasury.

About you: -

  • You will be driven, hungry to learn and want to progress in a Treasury Function.
  • We’re looking for a drive for continuous improvement and you will contribute to our collaborative working culture by bringing your brilliant relationship building skills to this role.
  • You will have experience within a similar level Treasury role within Financial Services or a more junior role looking for more development and stretch.
  • An understanding of Banking Treasury regulation (CRR2 / PRA Rulebook) as well as an understanding of relevant financial products will set you up for success in this role.
  • You will bring confidence to share ideas and thinking in an organisation that is looking to develop itself.
