Distribution Sales Manager

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of pallet racking and other metal storage products seeking a new sales person to manage and develop their distribution sales across the UK. With a competitive basic salary and excellent earning potential this is a great opportunity for an experienced sales person from within Racking & storage or related sector.

Responsibilities

· Managing an existing client base of distribution accounts across the UK

· Develop new racking distribution accounts

· Provide strong technical support to distributors seeking to buy a variety of racking, shelving and storage products

· Provide quotes and process incoming orders

· Keeping the CRM system updated and maintaining organization with customers

· Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth

Requirements

The company ideally require an individual with previous racking experience in a sales capacity, though individuals with a strong technical understanding may also be considered. You will be proactive in your approach to selling and provide technical support to distributors on their racking and storage requirements. Knowledge of CAD would be advantageous but not essential whilst a good knowledge of the racking distributors across the UK would be preferable. In terms of locality you can be in theory based anywhere across the country given our client generates opportunities in various areas.

Having been established for over 50+ years they have a strong setup and footing in the racking market across the UK & Ireland. Their range of products include pallet racking, shelving and lockers in addition to mezzanine flooring. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to take on a new sales person to focus on their distribution sales across the UK.
