Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and growing accountancy practice? My client are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join the team in Walsall. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a crucial part in maintaining precise financial reporting and general ledger accounting.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and oversee general ledger transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct thorough month–end reconciliations and review sales and Work in Progress (WIP) movements.
• Monitor and strategize supplier payments, optimizing efficiency while maintaining financial integrity.
• Execute journal postings and meticulously review expenses and costings.
• Scrutinize bank reconciliations and tackle various ad hoc finance tasks.
• Collaborate closely with the Group Financial Controller in a hands–on capacity, providing ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.
• Facilitate the smooth transition of newly acquired companies into our financial processes, balancing effective financial controls with operational agility.

• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Is dependable and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
• Possesses proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting software.
• ACCA/ACA Qualified, Part–Qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
