Internal Sales Representative Location Wigan :
We have an exciting opportunity for a Internal Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful day to day administration support. The role will be part of a wider sales administration team to understand customer requirements, produce quotes and process orders. Our customers are from all areas within the building trade industry, and we also cater to the general public.

- NWTT is a leading regional timber and construction supplier, employing approximately 90 and operating since 1990.
- There are 7 retail depots in the group, covering an array of manufacturing capabilities in timber treatment, sawmilling, fence panel production and joinery.
- The company is recording double digit growth and wants to continue this by enhancing the online presence to the public and commercial customers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide support within the sales administration team. Including processing quotes, orders, and interbranch transfers across our estate.
- Manage customer enquiries from initial receipt to acceptance of a purchase order
- Monitor online enquiries, processing of customer data and distribution to relevant sales team member.
- Admin of daily operational office related tasks
- Admin of online ordering (if appropriate)
- Maintain database of customer contacts on CRM systems
- Manage uploading of customer documents onto quality portal
- Customer support and liaison relating to all sales aspects
- Support sales team in any other requirements that may arise
- Responsible for navigating and completing customer queries accordingly
- Keep up to date with all legislation relating to chain of custody
- Exhibit positive behaviours to build relationships, internally and externally that meet that align with business values
About you
Working in a small team like ours, we need to see that you're highly motivated, a self-starter and you're dependable. You are a team player and can organise yourself and your work priorities. We are wanting to see someone that owns their workload, taking full responsibility for the workload from start to finish.
The successful candidate
- First class customer service skills
- Strong organisation skills
- Ability to multitask and work with team or on their own
- Good email and computer skills such as excel, outlook, word
- Ability to manage your own day with prioritise according to workload
Experience and Qualifications
- English, Maths, literacy to a good competence level (GCSE or equivalent)
- To be competent in MS Office
- Use of a CRM system- not essential as training will be given
- Previous experience in admin or sales role beneficial - not essential as training will be given
