Quality Manager

Sheet Metal & Fabrication.

Up to £52,500 Per Annum Depending on Experience.

Based in Letchworth.

5D Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading engineering company based in the heart of the home counties. After seeing a sustained period of growth since its buyout eighteen months ago, we are looking to recruit a Quality Manager. Our client specialises in the manufacture of bespoke fabrications, enclosures, and structural steel, whilst working with some of the major players within industries such Formula 1, Food Production and Medical.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of quality processes and procedures on site, whilst also being responsible for the ISO9001 certifications.

What the role will involve for the Quality Manager:

· This role covers all aspects of quality, from root cause analysis, and supplier quality through to customer complaints and cost reductions.

· As all sheet metal is bought in, supplier quality is very limited, but there is a robust internal quality process to be adhered to.

· Help resolve any quality issues. This can be through root cause analysis, looking at SOPs, process flows etc, then work with the wider management team to implement.

· Work with the management and sales teams to deal with customer queries and issues.

· Complete internal audits and oversee the external audits. Deliver on corrective actions from those audits.

Requirements

What we are looking for in a Quality Manager:

· Previous experience within a Sheet Metal and Fabrication environment.

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

· Open to learn and develop further.

· Previous experience within a similar role.
