This job is based in Liscard. You may need to travel to other stores when required.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone with previous retail and face-to-face sales experience as a store assistant but if you don't have that and instead have the willingness to learn and genuinely love to help people then we are willing to give you a chance, train you and bring the best out of you and give you the platform you need to prove yourself.

Responsibilities and Duties of a Store Assistant

- Greeting customers and dealing with them in a timely and polite manner

- Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.

- Contribute towards store sales and KPI targets, as well as individual performance targets

- Assist with Stock control

- Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.

- Stocking shelves with merchandise.

- Answering queries from customers and dealing with customer complaints.

- Keeping the store tidy and clean

- Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands

- Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays

- Work well in a team but able to use your own initiative when and where required for the smooth running of the shop floor

- Ad hoc duties
