A Key Account Manager / Export Sales Manager / Sales Engineer is required to join a growing engineering Manufacturer specialising in vacuum technology providing solutions to a global client base. The successful Key Account Manager / Export Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will be a hybrid position working out of an office near Brighton 3 times a week. Collaborating with key OEMs and distributors around Europe and around the world, you’ll be managing and growing the larger accounts within the vacuum technology sector, providing a top level of technical and commercial support to an existing, extremely successful customer base. The ideal Key Account Manager / Export Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will possess a science or mechanical engineering degree and have experience in technically selling and managing a product life cycle from start to finish, providing bespoke solutions to meet customer needs Package £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience Hybrid role Bonus scheme Paid for travel. Key Account Manager / Export Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Role Selling a range of mechanical, high-quality vacuum products such as rotary feedthrough, linear actuators, transfer arms, push and pull devices and many more, full product training is provided. Plan and manage a set of accounts within a key area of business across Europe. Promoting a range of mechanical and scientific products at trade shows and expeditions, meeting potential customers and providing solutions for these identified needs Lead commercial discussions, negotiating prices, and meeting order targets. Build on new accounts and develop a strong set of existing accounts. Able to follow and execute key plans both from the branch and independently. Liaise with various engineering departments to aid in the creation of bespoke products for customer needs. Liaise with customers to identify specifications/requirements and offer technical solutions. Keep up to date with new products coming to the market with a large existing portfolio. Covering key accounts and distributors across Europe, working with distribution partners and OEMs Key Account Manager / Export Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Export Sales Manager, Applications Engineer, Commercial Manager or similar within mechanical engineering or a science environment. Experience selling, managing or servicing mechanical or scientific equipment such as pumps, valves, conveyors, vacuum pumps, air compressors, rotating equipment, actuators or related products would be beneficial. Able to commercially build relationships with key OEMs and distributors. Mechanical bias or knowledge/interest of automation is desired. A mechanical engineering, science (biology, chemistry or physics) qualification / degree would be beneficial. Knowledge of the vacuum process is helpful, full product training will be provided. Reporting to the site in East Sussex, located in areas such as Bexhill, Eastbourne, Brighton, Burgess Hill, and the surrounding areas. A full UK driver's licence is needed.
