Background

Our client is a market-leading industrial service partner across Europe. They provide a range of valve, instrumentation & flow control solutions across the UK and Europe and due to growth and development, they look to appoint a sales engineer for valves in Whetstone, Leicester.

The Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for engaging with customers and suppliers commercially for valve, instrumentation and flow control products. This role is a consultative sales process and will assist customers’ enquiries to find a solution in the sourcing of the correct product. It will involve building a relationship with customers and the creation of quotes and part descriptions for a business unit based in Leicester. Typical customers can range from Industrial end users within the food & beverage, power generation, pharmaceutical, chemical and defence industries as well as distribution partners.

The Candidate

We are looking to hear from internal sales professionals with experience in solutions-driven sales in an engineering environment. If you have worked for an engineering company in a technical support or commercial capacity, we would like to hear from you. Full technical training will be given and an engineering qualification although beneficial is not required. This is also an excellent opportunity for a hands on engineer who is looking to move into a more commercial or technical role with fantastic support and training with a leading organisation.

The role will be on-site Monday-Friday as part of the technical sales team based in Whetstone. There is an excellent office and location which is the Business unit headquarters for the UK.
