Working within the Display division for Consumer Electronics we are responsible for promoting all non-TV displays across 4 categories for Samsung including Monitor, LFD, Hospitality TV and modular LED. With an excellent pedigree in the industry, Samsung’s 2023 goal is to drive for #1 market position within each of the 4 categories. The team is responsible for driving the product route to market, supply chain to ensure product availability and marketing to drive demand and brand recognition. A like-minded team is in situ to help support and recognise each department’s strengths to drive our goals collectively.
This role sits within the B2B partner sales team and will be responsible for the growth of the LCD category in our distribution partners.

Role and Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Align stock requested from partners to stock available from Samsung factories

  • Updating internal systems (daily) to reflect the correct values of stock incoming / outgoing

  • Live feedback to demand planners and distribution managers on stock movement

  • Documenting and recording pricing that has been issued to our partners

  • Creating pricing documentation to issue to channel partners

  • Cross referencing order values received match the values on quotations

  • Advise finance/leadership of quotations that have been provided

  • Attend internal calls on stock levels and planning

  • Data updates via excel / salesforce / GSCM (internal to Samsung)

  • Create and manage complex excel data

  • Gather share of wallet data from partners across the UK

  • Drive increased sales of LCD monitors through Samsung UK channel partners / distribution

  • Work independently with indirect reporting lines within Samsung UK

  • Ensure Samsung increases share in dedicated accounts

  • Support in financial planning

  • Support in PO process internally

  • Carry out additional responsibilities / duties as required

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A strong understanding of Excel

  • A history of accurate forecasting

  • A high attention to detail

  • A background in distribution would be advantageous

  • Proven communication skills working across multiple departments

  • Knowledge of the UK tech (IT) industry

  • Experience in bid management or pricing would be advantageous

  • Proven ability to significantly ramp revenue / units within partners/distributor

  • Strong financial planning

  • Strong experience of managing stock levels in and sell through

  • Experience of working within a fast paced environment

  • The role will be based on site within our Chertsey offices, UK.

Skills and Qualifications

What does success look like

The main of objective of the role is to manage our growth in LCD within key channel partners / distributors

  • Work with Channel, Supply Chain and Product Management to produce effective and accurate forecast to enable growth within aligned channel partners.

  • Be key product champion for LCD category both internally and externally

  • Increase partner and distribution sales

  • Detailed accurate reporting of stock levels incoming outgoing

  • Pricing created to distribution within business SLA

  • Accurate tracking of quotations provided via SFDC

  • Provide insight back from distributors / partners to Samsung UK

  • Support on engagement into UK business partners

  • Other duties as required

  • Working in line with industry compliance and demonstrating integrity at all times
