Are you a Sales Manager within Manufacturing/Engineering or industrial based industries looking for a new patch and new team to manage? A brand with a strong reputation, a new team for you to nurture and a business development patch ready for your Sales Management expertise They are currently turning over 2 million, and within a group of 9 businesses are not the top performing site, but with your tenacity, commerciality and hunter instinct could they be on the map where they belong? You can increase the current turnover by at least 30-40%, they just need to have a more proactive approach rather than the reactive one they currently foster. You have the support from a fantastic General Manager, who has been with the business for a long time and needs you as his Sales Manager to hunt out those quick wins, nurture the projects that take that little bit longer to win, but make a massive impact. Northampton, Buckinghamshire stretching to Leicestershire, so in essence East Midlands, living somewhere in between these areas would be ideal as you will be home based. There is a great team environment onsite, they want you to be immersed in that culture so you will need to be prepared to commute into the Corby based offices at least once a week and spend some quality time here whilst you are training; you will also spend time at the other sites, to see how they do things. Your team of 2 are new to the business, they look after existing customers, and deal with inbound enquiries, you have 1 who is experienced, will get their head down and get stuck in and for the other, a first sales role, has the right attitude and skills to be fantastic, with your nurturing and guidance could be unstoppable There is a pond out there, it‘s not being fished in, this is where you really come into your own A brand who prides themselves on their service offering, customers are King & Queens to these guys As Sales Manager selling into the Engineering industry will be your stomping ground, you understand technical sales You will be prospecting & hunting, there is a 70/30 split on New Business & Account Management, once you have won the customer over you as there point of contact, be on hand to look after them along with your team. But when I say Account Management that doesn‘t mean you can hide behind existing accounts, you need ambition for this role your pipeline is overflowing with new opportunities ready for you to close. As Sales Manager you will be given the autonomy to build a business plan and action it You will be at home in front of your customers, comfortable delivering a presentation for those bigger opportunities where multi-site solution may be required. Investment is being made in the group into both Sales & Marketing focussing on competitor analysis, what your customers really think and selling based on data and strategy rather than a blind approach, so you will really benefit from this input As Sales Manager you know that unless you build a great rapport with production you are destined for ‘problems‘ you always keep that open dialogue so that if you promise a customer a completion date that‘s the date, they get their finished goods The sector has a reputation for being dirty and not particularly glamorous, but these guys are working hard to change that and even looking at new processes they can add to their portfolio, your site is one of the earmarked sites, there really is no better time to join. You will be rewarded with a salary of £50k plus car, plus an attractive bonus and reward scheme.
