Job in Germany: Software Developer with technical management

We are an efficient and future-oriented social security service provider with more than 3,600 employees. As a regional provider of German pension insurance, we are responsible for the administrative districts of Upper Bavaria, Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate. At our Landshut and Munich locations, we are a competent and reliable point of contact for around 2.9 million insured persons, employers and 1 million pensioners.

To strengthen our IT department, which currently has around 150 employees, we are currently looking for a

• Technical management of specialist developers and developers within the scope of projects or task complexes
• Planning and design of complex cross-system software solutions
• Definition of standards for software development
• Development and maintenance of software components that meet requirements
• Quality assurance (architecture and code reviews, documentation review, quality management)

• Successfully completed university degree in computer science or a comparable field of study, alternatively
• Successfully completed further training in the field of IT
• relevant experience in the field of IT
• Relevant experience in the area of responsibility and software development required
• Project management experience desirable
• Willingness to acquire the necessary specialist knowledge and familiarize yourself with complex issues
• Analytical, logical, structured and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to work systematically
• Reliability and diligence
• Independent decision-making and action
• Ability to work in a team
• High service orientation towards users and applicants
