Tigerlily Childcare are seeking a Childcare Manager to join their amazing team at this Brighton based Baby nursery. This role is primarily room based with some time out for viewings and admin. There is a strong admin and Benefits include: Free parking, team social events during the year, CPD and on going training* They are a family run nursery, with a friendly, hard working team - looking for someone with experience in leadership to come with a nurturing, enthusiastic approach to support the team and be a great role model to all. A Childcare Manager is a qualified professional with a minimum Level 3 in Childcare. You will have responsibility for supporting the day to day running of the baby unit and maintaining an overview of the setting. A Childcare Manager will work in partnership with the team ensuring high standards caring for children, maintaining a high-quality, stimulating learning environment set out by the EYFS framework. A Childcare Manager will implement new ideas, have strong leadership and use a range of strategies to continually improve practice within the setting. A Childcare Manager will show initiative, igniting a love for learning and outstanding practice for all practitioners and children, ensuring that all practitioners within the setting are providing high quality provision and education for all children consistently. The potential candidate must have good knowledge and understanding of child development and practical experience of working with children from 0-5 years, and extensive baby experience. Be enthusiastic and willing to develop further knowledge in Early Years pedagogy and be open to further professional development. We will support applicants with sound experience with further professional development and training. It is imperative that you have good understanding of the EYFS and that you are passionate about working with children.
