Location: Cardiff / Hybrid (once a week in the office)
Salary/Rate: Up To £530 per day INSIDE IR35

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Project Manager with experience working with Development teams to join their team for a six-month contract. Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Support 2-3 cross-functional agile product development teams as they efficiently deliver features and exciting capabilities (teams are usually between 4 - 8 members, depending on the deliverable)
2. Work closely with the Software Development Lead and Product Owner to ensure that the teams remain closely synchronised and upcoming features are well planned
3. Ensure project resources and budgets are tracked and kept up to date.
4. Develop and distribute timely status reporting with key metrics to appropriate stakeholders.
5. Create, manage and share delivery plans, providing visibility of progress
6. Own and manage dependencies, ensuring the timely resolution, mitigating where needed or escalating where missed dependencies will impact the teams delivery.
7. Identify project risks & issues, escalating where appropriate in a timely manner; ensure impacts are communicated so all parties are aligned; partner with project stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate project impacts
8. Make recommendations for improvements to existing processes and procedures
9. Ensure timely use of project and technology tools to help drive accountability.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Previous proven project leadership experience
2. Strong experience in Scrum or Kanban.
3. SDLC knowledge and experience managing web based application projects

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

1. Experience working with JIRA; including generating dashboards, and bespoke filters.
2. Experience working with matrixed/shared teams
3. Experience working with MS Office and Atlassian tools
4. Experience in a Scrum Master role
5. Certified Scrum Master
6. Project governance certification
7. Participation in the project management community
