The focus for this role is to identify and analyse data issues or provide data support for new development of the core data warehouse and financial reporting solutions. The role requires ‘hands on’ investigation of technical data and will involve working closely with internal and external delivery teams, infrastructure, and 3rd party application teams to support. There will also be an element of development for their reconciliation and reporting environments. You will be responsible for the analysis, root cause and solution definition processes which will require you to:

• Conduct data interrogation activities across several SQL data instances
• Produce high quality deliverables, including materiality analysis and defect stories
• Build strong productive relationships with the business, IT teams and external 3rd parties to leverage their knowledge and skill to assist in your analysis
• Support the system and UAT test teams, helping with understanding of the change and reviewing test cases to ensure full coverage
• Support the on-going development of the Data Analyst function, having input to the standards, procedures, and knowledge transfer processes
• Adheres to the IT System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards and methodology and support delivery activities of full project life cycle, from inception to BAU handover

An Established data analyst Due to the nature of the position, and the requirements from the get-go, the successful applicant will have a recent history of working as a Data analyst or data professional at a mid-level, that have been exposed to and used the following processes. MS SQL and AZURE Data warehousing Business intelligence Data Quality Data preparation tools used such as Alteryx, SSIS, ADF or MS power platform The role will be working with multiple streams of financial data in a data warehouse, this must be evident in your previous recent experience.
