It’s time to join the UK’s biggest independent drainage specialist Due to company growth, Lanes Group are looking to appoint a Data Manager to join our growing IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the leading, development and execution of our data strategy, you will engage with various departments to understand their reporting requirements and you will lead the business roadmap to build a comprehensive data repository. Data Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business goals.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage effectively with all business units to understand their data and reporting requirements.
• Roadmap Leadership: Lead the roadmap for building a robust repository of management information, including a data catalogue and data warehouse.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all business operations to ensure data solutions meet the needs of end users.
• Industry Awareness: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data management.
• Assess and understand the abilities of end users, providing appropriate support and training as needed.
• Team Management: Manage and develop a team of data analysts, fostering their professional growth and ensuring they have the necessary skills and tools to perform their roles effectively.

Experience: Proven experience in data management, data strategy development, and implementation. ~ Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data catalogues, and database management systems. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage cross-functional teams. Enhanced overtime rates
