Director of Operations

QLM Search is recruiting an Operations Director for a specialist Food & beverage group. Reporting to the MD, this role forms part of the senior leadership team responsible for driving best-in-class operational performance across the business unit.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Provide leadership and planning for the division, improving operational and manufacturing processes.
2. Lead and guide the operational remit of the business unit strategic/operational plans.
3. Manage and develop all site operations procedures.
4. Driving the simplification of processes through standardization, technology, and innovation, and the implementation of methodologies for the unit.

Candidates must have come from a manufacturing environment (Food, Beverage, Pharma) with a strong operations background where you have managed all areas including Manufacturing, warehousing Engineering and H&S whilst partnering closely with the Supply Chain team. You will have implemented enhanced standard operating procedures processes and methodologies and must have the ability to lead and motivate a team, combined with a strategic approach to implementing change to drive operating performance.
